Setting up Voicemail.

 

 

From a Polycom SoundPoint  450, 500, 501, 550, 600, 601, 650, and 670.

  • To access your voicemail menu press the messages button on your phone and enter your pin number, 1234 by default
  • Press 5 to access the advanced features menu
  • Press option 1 to record a new greeting
  • You will be prompted to assign a number, between 1 and 9, to the greeting before recording. This allows multiple greetings to be saved on the phone.
  • Once recorded press # to stop recording. The system will give you prompts to play back, save, or re-record. Once complete the voicemail greeting is set.messages.png

 

From a Cisco SPA  500 series phone.

  • To access your voicemail menu press the envelope button on your phone and enter your pin number, 1234 by default
  • Press 5 to access the advanced features menu
  • Press option 1 to record a new greeting
  • You will be prompted to assign a number, between 1 and 9, to the greeting before recording. This allows multiple greetings to be saved on the phone.
  • Once recorded press # to stop recording. The system will give you prompts to play back, save, or re-record. Once complete the voicemail greeting is set.envelope.png

From any other phone or ATA Device.

  • To access your voicemail menu dial *123* from your phone and enter your pin number, 1234 by default
  • Press 5 to access the advanced features menu
  • Press option 1 to record a new greeting
  • You will be prompted to assign a number, between 1 and 9, to the greeting before recording. This allows multiple greetings to be saved on the phone.
  • Once recorded press # to stop recording. The system will give you prompts to play back, save, or re-record. Once complete the voicemail greeting is set.
